Please bring any glasses, boxes of contact lenses that come in or prescription, current contact lenses (wearing them if you have them), sunglasses, and insurance cards. Also helpful is a medication list, how far away is your computer/how much you use it, and any other special eye needs.

Yearly exams are recommended unless you have a diagnosis that requires more frequent exams.

Generally speaking, glasses or contact lenses help you have clear, well-balanced vision.

There is no charge, we are happy to service your glasses anytime. Nose pads, screws, and adjustments are always done at no charge.

A comprehensive vision and eye health exam includes A thorough review of your overall health and history; testing of eye alignment, movement, and nerve function; a careful analysis of your refractive error (eyeglass prescription); and a detailed examination of eye structure and tissues. We are assessing your eye health and vision along with your overall health. A thorough eye exam can reveal common undiagnosed conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol and routine dilation provides a more thorough, comprehensive assessment. Usually, routine dilation can be performed at your convenience. You and your doctor will decide when the best time to do that is.

Our doctors participate in Infantsee, a nationwide program designed to provide comprehensive eye exams to babies under 12 months old at no cost. If the eyes are developing normally at that time, we usually recommend regular exams at age 3 and again at age 5 before starting school. Yearly exams after starting school are usually recommended.

Our doctor’s top priority is your eye health. We provide a complete dilated medical examination as well as a guaranteed glasses prescription. Please allow about an hour for the exam. The process of choosing frames and lenses depends on what you are looking for and how long you want to spend. Feel free to come early to look at frames.

We try to keep paperwork to a minimum. We will verify your address and insurance information and have you sign a form when you check in at the front desk.

Our doctors offer a large range of medical eye care, from chronically red, irritated eyes, to management of chronic eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration, to foreign body removal.
